So I get this huge box in the post today, and wind up pacing and forth in front of it wondering "Do I or don't I?" Then I figured, it's a blizzard outside, I'm going to need to be entertained, oh whatthehell....

As I write this, Tom's voice is coming from the stereo, (I don't know over-engineered, but that doesn't sound like it to me, lovely) The Angel Band is next! The garnet crystal rock is a new office bookend, and my crab claw is hanging just above it! And if this snow keeps up, you do realize I am going to have to try out that recipe of yours! Oh, who am I kidding? even if this snow doesn't keep up, I'm going to have to try that recipe of yours....

Also a great big thanks to Karen, who performed a holiday miracle. Funny story: I was talking not too long ago with a Mudcat friend. This person was describing the guest list for their perfect dinner party. Bat Goddess' name came up, and I thought "Well, I don't know her too well, but if she's a friend of yours, she's a friend of mine." Now I have the feeling that I not only know her, but that I also have someone who is competent enough to run a blender.
