Honor? I don't know about that my friend - but I am so looking forward to seeing at least a few of the folks I've met here. I'm not a drinker, have no problem with those that like to drink, and would rather see what you all are up to. I don't know if I'll be able to bring my guitar or not - I hope so - but the airlines will determine that. (Yes I've bookmarked how to pack guitars!)

I have no transportation except for cabs - and I have no idea of how well they work. I was last in DC in 1982 for the dedication of the Viet Nam Memorial. Prior to that was 1967 when you could walk up to the White House and get a personal tour nearly. I've seen some of the Smithsonian and I thoroughly enjoyed the flight part! With my training running during the day I'll have my evenings from about 5 PM on free. And I'll be flying in on the Sunday prior so will have the rest of that day also. If they will let me I might try to come in on Saturday and would have that evening/night and all of Sunday.

I'm a back porch picker and love Jam Sessions - Hootenannys - get togethers - whatever you call them. I will keep you all up to date on when I will be able to arrive and hopefully put something together!
