San Juan Island is a beautiful place; that photo at the link looks more like July than March. Spring is a beautiful, if chilly, season up there. Considering the high prices of things out on the Island, the prices of the event and lodging don't look too high for the time and place involved. If the National Park Service (part of the Dept. of Interior) web sites ever come back online, you can visit the park here. Another site that is working now is this one.
