Right after I hit "submit", I remembered that it was "Ol' Shep" instead of Blue, I think. And, yes, I treasured that album, too. It was one of the few things my ex took with him; but, he left me our daughter, so I came out better off in the long run.***grin***

I also remember reading something about Wilf Carter's death, too. My dad was a real cowboy, at 82, one of the last few true ones from Colorado. He has a lot of respect for Carter. How lucky, for you, Rick, getting to perform with him.
