Just finished a big Eve supper with my mother. Like to do special stuff for her at Xmas. BBQ'd steaks... yeah, I said BBQ. It's 6C and no wind here in Moncton, NB and I know the BBQ ain't gonna be much use in a few weeks. It's a wonder that the weather is so warm now... maybe global BBQ'ing is the cause.

Tomorrow, off to my brother's mid-morning to watch his grandkids open their presents. Then a huge scoff of turkey and ham with all the fixin's. Then, as soon as I can get away from the hoopla, I'm going to plant my ass in front my fireplace with my Hran and cassettes made in kitchen sessions past and get loaded and celebrate the fact that Xmas is over and done for another year... I wonder if I can Hran to George Thorogood's (sp ?), "I Drink Alone" ?

Shite, sorry for the bummer post... but that's what I'm gonna do. Besides have anudder talk wi' Alfred about the lambs laying under the palms in the breeze.
