This is the first Christmas we've ever spent alone together.... even before Manitas and I married, we spent our first Christmas together with his family.... first meeting of the (although didn't know it then) in-laws!!

Ever since then have had two friends round for dinner, or gone to theirs. They have parted company this year and we had nowhere to go (it was their turn....), so it's just us, the bratling and the cats. And a big piece of beef... And a tin of chocolates.... And some sprouts. I love sprouts!

Boxing day is off to the ballet for Bratling (her first) and to a Mummers play and pub for us!! Again, another first, we usually have open day at home, but Manitas got pressganged.....
