Hmmm.

The New Lost City Ramblers, all configurations.

The Geyer Street Sheiks (local St. Louis string band trad and new grass and strangeness)

The Augusta Bottoms Consort (a local Montgomery county string band, their own stuff [Time to Kill the Rooster, one of their best])

The Holy Modal Rounders, especially Going Nowhere Fast.

Thick and Thin (Especially the banjo player Mike Yount of this local, Potosi, Missouri very old timey string band).

Split Rail, Union Station, any thing sung and or played by Allison Krause (oh lord do I love her voice!)

and all other music (except maybe hip hop and rap but then I am 63 and have a hard time relating to that "set")
