Potatoes slightly rubbed clean under running water so as not to disturb the skins. Beets with the greens on. Corn with the ears on. All done on the first broth... the first boil... after one overnight soak of the meat. After the first broth, all is rinsed and potted again for the final byle. Oh, me son !
