As I sit here I am reminded of my first Guitar STELLA [by starlite] Removed the paint and gave it a coat of varnish complete with U-Conn. decals stuck on. You mean one was suposed to change strings. ???? Just put down my Gentile guitar (GOYA) ethnic joke.. 1950 or so It still sings. Had not played the 1951 00-18 martin in 8 or 10 years and the sound was dead I started to play it again and the sound improves day by day. THere must be some truth in the statement that one must play it every day to keep the tone up It just loves Martin Silk and steel strings. Yahama FG not bad but nothing great or is that grate. Fender- good with a flat pick but with naked fingers-forget it. Just find something you like and sounds good to you and enjoy. isnt that whats its all about?? -- Allan
