Thanks gargoyle for your warm welcome to Mudcat.With the dedicated help of Joe offer I have been a member of Mudcat since October 2000.I have also received a lot of help from WYSIWYG,Margo and katlaughing and others.Due to my poor typing ablity I never posted any songs I would email them to kat laughing or Joe and they would post them for me,but with their help I now post a song occasionly when no one else seems to have the words.As anyone knows that has a large amount of tunes in their possession they didn't come easy.They were picked up at yard sales Estate sales,buying song books with 1000 songs in them from music stores or there have been times when I wanted a tune I paid from $ 10:00 to $ 15:00 to get the CD or the tape,of course I got other songs.I am listed in the Photo,locator email section and this came about with the help of some very dedicated Mudcatters.My musical back ground I have been playing at a guitar for 70 years and still learning.I have been a member of the Oregon Old Time Fiddlers for 20 years and served 1 year as their president.I have also been the chairman of district # 10 off and on for the past 8 years.The group I play with here in Roseburg,Oregon we play at least 15 times a month at all the nursing homes assisted living VA hospital and senior centers.So if you are ever passing through Roseburg and want to do a little jamming give me a call and I can have a group together in about 20 minutes Louie Roy
