In fifteen years I've only had to work about four Christmases, and maybe five Thanksgivings. They had us on standby for Y2K, but nobody rioted. Until they boot me out of detectives I get to choose my days off unless we get hit with a meth lab. (I hate meth labs) Last New Years Eve I got called out for a meth lab, but we finished it before the festivities started. I hope they don't find one this New Year's Day, because I seriously don't want to miss the Ducks playing the Buffaloes.
