my 13 year old nephew got me a "goddess energy" candle...he is kinda interested in all the pagan stuff and asked me to get him a tarot deck for his birthday this year...I think it tickled him to get me something he thought I'd "use" in a magical way...

My siblings always seem to have a "theme" each year for my gifts; last year it was any sort of decorative "Celtic" item and this year the theme seemed to be aromatherapy (candles, lotions, etc.)

I got to see some old high school chums last night for the first time in ten years! We laughed into the wee hours over drinks at a friend's house. One of them (an old boyfriend actually) offered me a ride back to Vermont (I am en route back to Boston)so we can catch up some more...
