Went to see Amelie -- oh, it's o.k., but too cute for its own good after an hour -- but anyway, right in the middle of it, there is a 15 second clip of Rosetta Tharpe which is completely electrifying. And then the movie continues. I was wondering about other examples people may have of 15 second explosions in other films -- the most famous of course being those glimpses of black musicians in dreadful films (and now the maid will sing a song).
