I've been playing slide for awhile now, but mainly in DADF#AD for blues. Lately I've been getting into Allison Krauss's new disc New Favorite, and I'm noticing some beautiful slide on the album. Similar to stuff I've heard on Lyle Lovett's "Step Inside This House". Guess I'm just a neophyte to bluegrass, but I wanna learn. anyone know more about this kind of tuning for slide? Any sites I can visit for more info on the style, etc.? Or, for that matter, any discussion of slide and slide playing. Like I said I play mostly in DADF#AD, but I also just go standard tuning as well, usually for the Allman Bros. stuff. SB
