Sorry to bring this up again. I'd like to say that when I first saw the title of the thread, I was expecting reverse racism.I'm living in Georgia, south of Atlanta but still a couple of hours from Florida. I've often heard the word used in Susan's way, especially by blacks in movies. It is a powerful word used that way. This is the first time I've heard of a "good" cracker. Except of course saltines and the Christmas Crackers my cousins used to have back in Newfoundland. I remembered crepe paper hats, no yellow purses though.
