Hear hear Jed, with all the trouble in the world, and this being a time of reflectiona and all that! So please, as the person who innocently started a thread on CHRISTMAS Cracker Jokes, I repeat my question, now it has been ably explained by several people.
what jokes did you find inside your CHRISTMAS cracker along with the yellow purses, pink plastic fishes, etc. and paper hats?
For example:

What do you call a deer with no eyes?

No idea!


or:

Customer: Waiter, waiter, have you got frogs legs?
Waiter: Yes sir.
Customer: Well hop over the counter and get me some mayonnaise then!

The jokes are usually not terribly funny, what we call here in England, corny.
