Shortly after posting those lyrics I realized I've had that "¨" thing backwards for several months now! Thanks for correcting my post, as well as for explaining the general rule (so I won't forget next time).In Navigator, at least the Mac version, the acute accent is made by holding down the "option" key while hitting the "e" and then hitting the key for the vowel you want. The circumflex is "option+"i"then the vowel in question. The umlaut is "option +"u" + the vowel in quetion. I foget how to do the grave accent, so I just open MS Word and go to "insert symbol" under the "insert" menu and copy the letter-cum-symbol I want. The capital "Á" (grave accent) is made by holding down the shift key+option+"A."
