If it were meat or a fruit or vegetable that could bring in a potentially harmful fungus or bug, it would be difficult. There is nothing wrong with sending tea, provided you stipulate on the customs declaration that it is dried and packaged, and not fresh green tea.(Thanks to Carol in Customs & Excise for the info. The Inland Revenue get them involved sometimes when investigating activities of certain 'taxpayers'... well, if it can get Al Capone.....?!)
