Now Helen, that is a concept. I went overboard (what else is new) and offed outlook express. But your solution would have been far quicker. Misophist, Nortons DID identify the virus, just wouldn't fix it. Or at least, it was listed in the list of virus's that it was supposed to conquer. However, will take your advise about updating daily. I'm on line daily, no reason not to update daily.
