Jeri, if you went through Montreal AND the Adirondacks en route from Toronto to southern NH, I'm surprised you got there at all!Cornwall is the best place to cross the border hassle-free, but it's not a place I'd want to spend the night (having lived there once). We used to go via the Adirondacks, Saranac Lake and all that, on our way to southern Vermont, but too many winter storms changed our habit--we just take 11 along the north edge now, cross at Rouses Point, go down the Champlain Islands for a bit of scenery, and hit the 89. You don't get Adirondack whiteouts, and you don't get lost in Whitehall NY like we always used to.
Rick and Spaw, if you're gonna try to fool us with fake instrument descriptions, you should really locate the imaginary beasts somewhere other than the 12th Fret, which has the best and most regularly updated (DAILY!) website of any music store I've ever seen--and it seems like they have 15 or 20 grand worth of new instruments practically every day; you could almost make a living with that sort of turnover.
And Happy New Year everybody. Don't sit on scanners.
