This morning's news is that the New Carissa is once more on her way out to sea, the tug having finally pulled her loose of the Waldport sandbar at 3:30 this morning after a couple unsucessful tries. The newspaper reports oil gobs drifting in up the coast near the mouth of the Columbia and into Washington, tho one report says that it doesn't match the New Carissa's oil, and must have come from some other leaking ship.
