Moving Hearts were great when Christy Moore were with them, but they got a bit moorish after he left ( bit like when Shane left the Pogues) Speaking of the erudite Mr MacGowan, my vote would be with The POgues as a shit hot folk-punk band. Steeleye and Fairport are still up there for me along with Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and the greatest of them all for all you nodders out there, The Grateful Dead, great music to make love to...it just goes on for ever...or is that another thread...shit spaw done got me all darned confused and confubulated there.
