Chance, it strikes as the beardsell would be a fine fingerpicking guitar. As a hard flatpicking one, I think it might be unsurpassed. It's versatility struck me the first time I played one. The most unusual feature is the small soundhole on the top. It just shoots the sound up into your face! No need for monitor speakers with this baby.

The weirdest part of the guitar is that you can just look inside it through the portholes. Shouldn't work, but oh boy, does it!
