Guest, what is copyright and what is not is not always easy to answer from the data in the DT and the Forum. Or from a search elsewhere for the song, for that matter. Incomplete data are often cited on the internet. Is the copyright applicable to the words and/or melody, or just to the particular performance to prevent unauthorized copying, playing, piracy, etc. Is the © renewable? Join Mudcat, go through the threads, and you will read about some of the problems.
