I spoke with Jean this evening--sounds like Sept. 11 has impacted registration here like it has in so many ways. There is room, and she's hoping a few more folks will implusively decide to attend. Easy for folks in the Seattle area--though I will tell you that it's fairly easy if you're not nearby. I almost flew to Seattle last week to attend my cousin's funeral on Friday. I had a medical appointment I had to keep and couldn't reschedule at the last minute, so didn't go, but three days before I would have left I found a flight from DFW to SeaTac for $352. It boggles the mind!

Act implusively, plan to go and have a great time. I wish I could go, but I'm getting ready to close on a house (got to pack a heckuva lot of stuff starting in February).
