Every year the local Peace Officers Assoc. brings entertainers/musicians to town. I always buy one ticket, for the cause, but usually give the ticket away. Once in awhile I keep it for myself. I'm trying to decide which way to go this year.

This year, in May, the guest will be Thom Bresh. I'm aware he is Merle Travis' son and that he has his own guitar picking style.

I checked his website and he sounds like he'd be good on a number of different levels. But- is he LOUD? I cannot stand decibels crashing through the stratosphere.

'Shenandoah' will be on the same bill. Meant to check them out but forgot. Do you know anything about them?
