The Singing Nun (who popularized Dominique) was a French speaking Belgian (hence Walloon). I seem to recall that she died an inauspicious death in mid 1980s amid some sad controversy (at least according to the Belgians I knew). She helped get Debbie Reynolds out of a career doldrum.
