When the Britannic struck a mine and sank off of Greece in WWI she was a hospital ship. She sank very slowly by the bow and most everyone escaped with few injuries or loss of life. Saddly of those who did die about thirty where in life boats that were dragged through the exposed propellers as she sank. She lies nearly undisturbed and upright at the bottom.
