12th Fret in Toronto has a Kubicki Bass for sale (second hand I think) today. It has a built in extra fret (like I alluded to in an above posting in regards to violin family instruments) for the lowest string, and an integral capo-like mechanism. My question? What name does this mechanism have, if any? This would be cooler (to me at least) than the drop tuners that are available. Does anyone market a guitar with such a thing?
