Hi, Mudcritters!

Aside from being a folk music lover, player (and occasional performer) I am also a librarian.

Today, I got a reference question from a fellow who wanted to see if he could get hold of a song that was (he said) mentioned in the book "Bridges of Madison County." The song is apparently an old jazz song, probably from the 40's, called "Francesca." Unfortunately, this library didn't happen to have the book, so I couldn't glean any additional clues from there.

I have done some initial searching, with no result. Has anybody got a clue or two?
