The first thing I used tell all my students was that they had to realize the problem was NOT that they weren't smart enough, but that it is really difficult to act as idiotic as a computer. Humans just aren't built to be that stupid!!

The lag in getting the ack back from thge server causes the IE browser to generate that try later message, but what has actually occurred is thta Loki has received the message, just been a tad laggardly in saying "Thank youy"; so the browser feels it has to do something.

In IE you use File==New to get a new browser window, from which you can bob over to the Mudcat and see of the thread has your post at the bottom of it. It usually will. If not, you still have the other window open to resubmit but it is advisable not to hit Submit twice unless you are really sure it is necessary.
