Who will live on? These are my opinions and just off the top of my head. Certainmly there are a lot more women I could name. I'm also sure that people will be remembered for their body of work that I have mentioned only a specific song for. I don't know what every one has written. But I think its unrealistic and maybe unfair to say that no one will be remembered and their songs won't be sung. I doubt that Michael Jackson songs or Kid Rock tunes will be sung around the same camp fires as Bill Staines or Kate Wolf.

Don

Stan Rogers- On his Body of work

Gordon Bok- On the Body of work

Eric Bogle- Waltzing Matilda

Dave Mallet- Garden Song, |Ballad of St Anne's Reel

Kate Wolf- Give Yourself to Love

Bill Staines- Body of work

Si Kahn- Aragon Mill

Bob Franke- Thanksgiving Eve

Nanci Griffith- Its a hard Life

Townes Van Zandt- Body of work
