Hey all. Anyway, i got rid of it, by getting rid of Outlook. The way it worked in my case was causing a continuous loop, so never saw the mail to which it was attached.....had nothing to open, so don't know if there was an attachment or not. As it turns out, it never did get into my computer....just the loop in 'express. I'll admit, i certainly know more about the innards of my computer now than i did then. But, i must specify, the patch at Symantech was NOT specific to my case, it only worked on the one virus, not it's variants. I'm really happy with Eudora, just wish i could access my email from it when out of town (as now) But not enough to go back to Outlook
