Just buy SELF-RISING CORN MEAL and follow the recipe on the back. (It helps to have an iron skillet, and throw in a little baking soda.)I used to make this for supper at least twice a week when the kids were home. It's a delicious fast, hot bread. One night my daughter had a little friend spending the night with her. This little girl's mom was born in London, grew up in Canada. She watched me a very long time, and when I took the corn bread out of the oven, she said, "WHAT is that?"
