Mollie - the only song I've heard with these words is called 'Make My Day' and it was sung by a guy called Labi Siffre. Some of the lyrics go: '...pretty little girl in a blue dress playing in the sand, make my day - smile for me....' If this is the right one, let me know and I'll try and chase it up for you.
