On a more serious note. Will any of the pubs at Stony let us put a collection round for the Mudcat Fund ? If not could we busk (in Bletchley or Central MK). I will have a small PA + battery and inverter available. If I'm not singing I'm perfectly prepared to do the "bottling" - I once collected over £500 at a Folk-day afternoon, 20 years ago - what's that with inflation ?

Why are folkies (excepting Morris Dancers) always so adverse to raising money by the one thing that they enjoy doing ?
