kendall, for the acid reflux, you might want to try using digestive enzymes with your meals. The kind with ox bile extract (I'm not kidding) is best for protiens, and a good vegetable based one would be fine for fats and pretty much everything else.
I use them and they work very well for me. I only use about a quarter of a tablet of the kind with ox bile extract at a time, though, because a little of that stuff goes a long way.
