Thanks to you all,it is none of the songs you mention. I saw it written down years ago, I have no idea of the tune, I was not particularly musical at that time!!. Not sure if I am now. I think it was in an English Song book of some sort. Possibly it was a school song book. Many thanks for your efforts. We have only just discovered Mudcat, it is great fun.
