It's always easier to believe that these things did not happen in our country but there were indeed many "atrocities" committed by nanny states believing that they were acting in the best interest of the country ......as I often point out to people ....The British invented concentration camps during the Boer War and inflicted horrendous suffering on womwn and children.
Why, then, is it so difficult to believe that they might also have had an official sterilisation programme??
