When the various MS-office macro-viruses and such started to appear is when the first crack in the "mac immune system" also occurred. So far no one seems to have bothered to write a macro-virus or visual basic or java worm that attacks macs - but as I said above, macs can function as "typhoid mary" type carriers - infecting others, and acting as a resevoir of the virus.
