Having seen how easily flamers and nasty trolls[*] can take over a newsgroup, I also think it's a great saying for cyber culture...

[*] as opposed to Pro-Fun Trolls who go from newsgroup to newsgroup spreading playful ideas, and inciting thoughtful commentary... or at least, we try ;-)
