Who gives a flying shag about a bunch of overpaid guys whose sole reason for playing on a particular team is money? It's not as if professional sports teams actually in any way represent a particular area. They're (except by accident) not from there, and will sell their talents to the highest bidders. They have much in common with prostitutes and mercenaries.
