The newspaper said we got half an inch here outside Auburn, in Northern California - but I think it was more like three inches that we got Monday. We're at an elevation of 2,300 feet and mountain driving in snow can be treacherous, so my stepson was overjoyed to get the day off school. My sweetie and I took a hike along the stream in the woods next to the house, and it was absolutely beautiful. The camellias are starting to bloom, and they look beautiful in the snow.
One of the many reasons I'm glad I got married and moved up here.
