Liland...that there's a perfect example of the folk process! We'll never know if I got it right from Dick H., whether Joe got it right from ME, or whether one of us changed it accidently...and until we hear from the author, we are not even sure how it was originally...I hear it in my head as 'amber', as the humor seems to lie in the 'key' part, and the descriptions are sung as if they are totally serious.....but when you look what is done to Scots dialect, it is a minor issue...*grin*
