Jon ...The reviews of "classic" stuff like 1975 was just to pump-prime the reviews section ... as time wore on, newly-released indie recordings started winging Pay The Reckoning's way. And that was that PTR really intended to be as regards reviews ... be another spot where bands/artists could publicise independently produced material to the type of people who're likely to be interested in their music.
The Firebrand stuff's truly excellent ... Pete's fiddling is a treat ...
And I was pleased to hear Denny Bartley's material ... his "Seven Curses" and "Blind Harper" are phenomenal.
