Once again, at our post-morris sing, I dug out a tune about St. Patrick. The first verse is as follows:You heard of St Dennis of France, who never was much for Braggin.. You heard of St George and his lance, who killed the hedonish dragon. The Sense that the Welshman and Scot are a couple of plentiful pipers may just as well go to posh, when compared to the patron of vipers. St Patrick of Ireland, my dear.
The second verse goes on: ...Bring me a flagon to drink, to wash down the molodroths brust-ye??
A singer at Pinewoods taught the song to me, and he had no idea what the words were here, or if indeed molodroths do indeed burst-ye. Anybody know this song, and know the phrase hat I'm looking for? I'm tired of struggling red-faced through this phrase.
Thanks
