So, go to your system tray, select "Show Desktop" and close all the windows open... then to bring up the "Close Porgram" dialogue and select your browser from the list and "End Task".. In that way NOTHING opens faster than you can close it...

Then don't go back to the place ever again...

But I have not seen a non-porn site that uses pop-ups that badly...

Mind you, I try not to look at many non-porn sites on the net in the first place... there doesn't seem to be much point, given the average lack of content!

I've also found that surfing with Java turned off helps quite a bit with popups and a worse offender, voice banners "I have a secret website that's only for YOU..."
