I know that it becomes a real problem for some and if it's not a problem for you personally, then you tend to forget. I know that since I went with the cable modem, I never notice how long a thread is getting anymore.

I also think it's still better to take it on ourselves than add in any program to do it. If you want to start a new one and copy the last 10 or 20 posts, fine....just do it. Also be sure to add the link between both threads which I guess is sometimes also being forgotten.
