The years went by like one, two, three
And soon they had a fam-i-ly
And every night in the pale moonlight it would sound
Like this to me-e-e
Ah ump mama, ah ump papa
Etc.

... the years went by like 2, 3,4
And soon that family had some more
And every night...
Ah ump grandma, etc.
