I think it was Llewtrah who originally asked about this on the Bawdy list. And I posted back what my friend Allan Schwinn sings this as an intro to "The Ship Song" (which I can post the words to, but it's not bawdy, and is under copyright, but I don't know who wrote it).

What he sings is:

He says he got it years ago from some comedian.
